A+ Alliance
Overview
The A+ Alliance for Inclusive Algorithms is a global initiative founded in 2019 by Women @ the Table and Ciudadanía Inteligente to promote feminist approaches to artificial intelligence and digital governance. It works through its Feminist AI Research (f <A+I>r) network, which operates regional hubs in Latin America and the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East and North Africa (led by the Access to Knowledge for Development Center at the American University in Cairo). The Alliance supports research, prototypes, and pilot projects through funding and mentorship, while also convening workshops and developing regional observatories such as the MENA AI Observatory.
