Overview
Libya Crimes Watch (LCW) is a UK-registered human rights organisation working to monitor, document, and report violations in Libya. Our focus areas include accountability for international crimes, protection of civic space, advocacy, and support for victims. We deliver projects through a nationwide network of trained field researchers and partnerships with regional and international actors. LCW’s strengths lie in producing credible documentation, engaging effectively with UN and EU mechanisms, and amplifying victims’ voices. Key achievements include publishing the 2024 Annual Report documenting 589 violations, contributing to Libya’s UPR, building referral pathways for survivors, and advancing joint advocacy through our partners and coalitions.
