Behavioral HealthCare Center (Daam)

Overview

The Behavioral Health Care Center, also known as “Daam,” is a not-for-profit organization in Qatar dedicated to promoting mental and behavioral health. Established in 2014, its mission includes increasing awareness, offering treatment, rehabilitation, and providing training services in the field of behavioral health. Daam offers services for behavioral disorders and ethical deviations, including but not limited to aggression, lying, theft, bullying, and internet addiction. It also aims to prepare highly qualified professionals, especially in behavioral and cognitive therapy, sexual education, and reintegration work. In 2021, Daam was formally merged into the Qatar Foundation for Social Work network of affiliated centers, as part of an effort to enhance service delivery, professional training, community partnerships, and integrative after-care.
