China’s will be donating $100 million in humanitarian aid to Gaza, hoping to ease the crisis and help rebuild, as President Xi Jinping announced the move during a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron in Beijing on December 4, 2025.

China’s foreign ministry says the money will go toward getting crucial supplies into Gaza and rebuilding the infrastructure hit by the conflict. Things like food, medical aid, and repairing what’s been destroyed are the goals for this support.

This isn’t China’s first effort either. Beijing pointed out that they’ve already sent supplies through the United Nations, Egypt, Jordan, and other routes. They say this new aid shows China stands with the Palestinian people in what they call an “unprecedented humanitarian crisis.”

Chinese officials also called for a real, lasting ceasefire and a fair political solution. They say this donation isn’t just about immediate relief, it’s about easing people’s suffering, stabilizing the area, and giving Gaza a chance to recover for the long run.
