Overview

The Federation of Palestinian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture was established in 1989. According to the law, the Federation enjoys an independent legal personality, both financially and administratively. It is the national umbrella for Palestinian Chambers of Commerce and Industry and represents the chambers and their affiliated members before official and non-official bodies locally and internationally. The Federation also works to protect the interests of its members, defend their rights, and participate in drafting, reviewing and amending laws, regulations and procedures of an economic nature that relate to facilitating the work of the Palestinian private sector, providing a favorable environment for investment and ensuring the performance of the private sector in a competitive environment based on best business practices and customs, in addition to raising the efficiency and capabilities of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and developing and diversifying their services.
