Palestinian Housing Council (PHC)

Overview

The Palestinian Housing Council was established in 1991 in Jerusalem as a non-profit organization. Its aim is to develop the housing sector and contribute to resolving housing problems exacerbated by the deteriorating economic and political situation in the Palestinian territories. The Council has mobilized over $260 million to help address the housing crisis in Palestine, benefiting approximately 12,000 Palestinian families through its various programs and projects, including nearly 3,000 families in Jerusalem. The Council has also contributed to the development of housing plans, strategies, and studies to help resolve the accumulated housing problem resulting from the unstable political conditions.
