Roots
Overview
Roots is an international organization grounded in the philosophy of “community-born, community-led, and community-owned.” They collaborate with and incubate initiatives that drive local innovation, improve everyday lives, and shape climate policy to reflect frontline realities.
Through their flagship projects, including the Climate Justice Camp (the largest in-person organizing and leadership platform of its kind), the Growing Roots Grant (funding and mentorship for youth-led initiatives), and Roots Lab (participatory online and offline workshops for organizers), they help build the relationships, resources, and infrastructure that enable people to lead change rooted in their stories, struggles, and solutions.
