Over 20 years of experience have been built as a senior donor relations and fundraising professional, specifically within conflict-affected and politically sensitive contexts. Expertise is held in institutional fundraising, donor engagement, and navigating complex compliance requirements. A proven track record is maintained in securing and managing multi-million USD funding from key European and multilateral donors, such as SIDA, DMFA, GIZ, the EU, UNICEF, and UN Women. Most recently, over $3 million in funding was secured for portfolios involving political transition, accountability, and Housing Land and Property (HLP) rights.

Institutional donor relations were led, encompassing grant negotiations, reporting, audits, and strategic positioning for senior management. Successful proposals were developed across diverse sectors, including Education, Food Security, Livelihoods, and Women’s Empowerment. In addition to fundraising, the MEAL department was headed, where teams in Turkey and Syria were supervised to ensure accurate coordination and results-based reporting. Large-scale operations were also overseen, with up to six projects managed simultaneously and leadership provided to 400 field staff and 13 field coordinators.

Technical oversight was provided for educational and PSS activities, and as a certified Master Trainer, tailored training was delivered in proposal development and project cycle management. A solid understanding of humanitarian principles, accountability, and results-based management is possessed. These qualifications are supported by a Master’s Degree in Political Science and International Relations and a Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems. Finally, native proficiency in Arabic is held, complemented by fluent English at a C1 level.
