Moving Minds Alliance
Overview
The Moving Minds Alliance (MMA) is a global multi-stakeholder alliance focused on improving outcomes and equity for young children and families affected by crises and displacement. It unites various organizations, including NGOs, foundations, UN agencies, and private sector partners, to promote investments in early childhood development (ECD) in crisis settings.
MMA's mission is to advocate for better outcomes for young children impacted by crises. The organization operates through key initiatives such as a Research Forum that fosters collaboration among researchers, advocacy and policy work targeting donor engagement and humanitarian coordination, and the provision of educational materials on early childhood development. With a governance structure that includes a Steering Committee and an Expert Advisory Group, MMA comprises over 30 member organizations dedicated to creating positive change for children in crisis. Its strategic direction emphasizes locally-led responses and equitable resource distribution to meet the needs of young children and their families in emergency contexts
