Dr. Iyad Aljaber is the Founder of IDare for Sustainable Development. Dr. Aljaber is an international expert in dialogue, transformative pedagogy, and the social and solidarity economy, with over two decades of experience designing and implementing multi-level policies and interventions across complex socio-political contexts in the Euro-Mediterranean region.  He has served as a consultant and expert for numerous European Union institutions, UN agencies, international NGOs, academic networks, and policy think tanks. His work is centered on the development of frameworks for democratic participation, countering hate speech, enhancing social resilience, and navigating transitions through inclusive and locally grounded approaches. 

A pioneer in applying the principles of the social and solidarity economy to Arab contexts, Dr. Aljaber has designed and led institutional models that redefine the meaning of value creation through participatory governance, economic inclusion, and community-based entrepreneurship. His frameworks are recognised for integrating justice, equity, and sustainability as foundational economic principles, rather than abstract aspirations.
