Jordan Green Building Council
Overview
The Jordan Green Building Council (JordanGBC) is Jordan’s national NGO, non-profit green building association, and an Established Member of the World Green Building Council (WorldGBC). Established to lead the transformation of Jordan’s built environment toward sustainability, JordanGBC serves as the primary platform for promoting green building practices, concepts, and capacity across the public and private sectors.
Its mission is to promote and advocate for the adoption of green building practices, especially in the Jordanian building and construction sectors, through the capacity building programs, the multiple partnerships, the research and innovation activities, and the different projects that JordanGBC works on, to promote the affordable green building practices and the economic benefits of it.
