Agricultural Engineer and Senior Agroeconomist with more than 30 years of professional experience within the Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture and international consulting assignments in Africa and the Mediterranean region. Specialized in sustainable agriculture, rural development, climate change, agricultural value chains, renewable energy, and territorial planning. Currently serving as Regional Director at the Agricultural Land Agency under the Tunisian Ministry of Agriculture.

Holder of a Postgraduate Diploma and Master of Science in Rural Economics and Business Management from the Agronomic Institute of Chania (CIHEAM – Greece), as well as a Professional Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering and Management focused on renewable energies. Strong expertise in the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of development projects financed by international donors including the EU, GIZ, FAO, AfDB, and the World Bank.

Over 25 years of experience in sustainable rural development and agricultural planning, including feasibility studies, natural resource management, irrigation projects, socio-economic assessments, participatory local development, and support to farmers’ organizations. More than 15 years of experience in agricultural and agri-food value chain development, business planning, private sector support, and SME/IGA promotion.

Recognized expert-trainer in climate change, carbon footprint assessment, renewable energy, and results-based management. Conducted high-level training and technical assistance missions in Tunisia, Algeria, Senegal, Benin, Madagascar, Congo-Brazzaville, Oman, Guinea, and Syria for ministries, public institutions, and international organizations. Expertise includes ISO 14064 and ISO 14067 standards, project cycle management, monitoring and evaluation, MS Project, and environmental and social assessment.

Experienced university lecturer and coach in agroeconomics, renewable energy project management, and sustainable development. Author of publications related to renewable energy and climate transition. Fluent in Arabic and French with good command of English. Strong analytical, managerial, facilitation, and capacity-building skills combined with extensive field experience in multicultural environments.
