Mohammad Ghazal
About
I specialize in designing and delivering practical entrepreneurship, self‑employment, and SME support programs for NGOs, INGOs, and development actors working in Lebanon and the wider region. My experience sits at the intersection of training delivery, SME coaching, and program implementation, with a strong focus on vulnerable and crisis‑affected communities.
Over the past years, I have worked with partners such as the Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement (IECD), the René Moawad Foundation, Key of Life, and Life Project 4 Youth. With these organizations I have trained and coached more than 400 beneficiaries: entrepreneurs, TVET students and graduates, women‑led initiatives, and SMEs impacted by the Beirut blast. My topics include business ideation and prototyping, basic business modelling, pricing and financial fundamentals, access to grants and proposal writing, self‑employment toolkits, CV writing, employability skills, workplace behaviour, and confidence‑building for youth and women.
In addition to group training, I provide one‑to‑one and small‑group coaching. This includes support on recovery and continuity planning, simple cashflow and cost tracking, pricing adjustments, and preparing for real market exposure. With IECD, I supported SMEs affected by the Beirut explosion to design recovery plans, and prepared around 30 SMEs over four annual cycles for the market events, working on marketing, stand preparation, and customer interaction.
My approach is highly practical and participant‑centred: I start from the reality of each group, use simple language, and turn concepts into exercises, tools, and concrete next steps. I am comfortable working across mixed groups (Lebanese and Refugees), tailoring content to different literacy and experience levels, and delivering in Arabic (including Lebanese dialect) and English.
Overall, I bring a combination of field‑tested training practice, SME coaching experience, and familiarity with donor‑funded program requirements, making me a reliable partner for organizations seeking to strengthen the entrepreneurship and SME components of their projects.
