KUNO
Overview
KUNO Platform is a Netherlands-based humanitarian knowledge exchange platform that brings together humanitarian practitioners, researchers, policymakers, NGOs, and other stakeholders to promote learning, reflection, and dialogue on key humanitarian issues. Established as a collaborative network within the Dutch humanitarian sector, KUNO aims to strengthen the effectiveness and accountability of humanitarian action by facilitating the exchange of knowledge across organizations and disciplines. The platform organizes expert meetings, training courses, working sessions, webinars, publications, and public debates that address challenges such as conflict, climate change, localization of aid, humanitarian innovation, and shifting global political dynamics. KUNO serves as a bridge between research, policy, and practice, helping humanitarian actors learn from one another and adapt to an increasingly complex operating environment. The platform is supported by a broad network of humanitarian organizations, academic institutions, and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, making it an important hub for humanitarian dialogue and professional development in the Netherlands.
