Overview

Beit Lahia Development Association (BLDA) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization based in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip. Established in 1994 to support sustainable community development, the association works to improve the social and economic well-being of vulnerable groups through a range of programs in livelihood development, education, youth empowerment, women's economic participation, humanitarian assistance, and community resilience. BLDA collaborates with local and international partners to implement projects that strengthen local capacities, create employment opportunities, and promote inclusive development. Through its community-centered approach, the association seeks to enhance living conditions and foster sustainable growth despite the challenging humanitarian and socioeconomic context in Gaza.
