EPLO – European Public Law Organization
Overview
The European Public Law Organization (EPLO) is an international organization headquartered in Athens, Greece, dedicated to advancing public law, the rule of law, human rights, and democratic governance through international cooperation. Formally established as an international organization in 2004, with its Statute entering into force in 2007, EPLO is the successor to the European Public Law Center, founded in 1995. Its work focuses on legal education and research, institutional development, public administration reform, capacity building, technical assistance, and support for democratic institutions. EPLO works with governments, public institutions, universities, international organizations, and civil society actors and has implemented more than 300 projects across Europe, the Mediterranean, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and other regions.
