I am a humanitarian, development and research professional with over eight years of experience in programme and project management, donor relations, fundraising, grant management, disaster risk reduction, emergency response, early recovery, migration and community resilience.

At the Turkish Red Crescent, I identify national and international funding opportunities and coordinate the full grant cycle, including needs identification, concept and proposal development, logical frameworks, workplans, budgeting, consortium development, submission, implementation monitoring, donor compliance, and technical and financial reporting. I have experience with EU and other institutional donor requirements, resource mobilisation, partnership development and multi-sectoral programme design.

My technical expertise includes protection mainstreaming, MHPSS, child protection, safeguarding, PSEAH, gender-based violence prevention, refugee protection, social cohesion, disability inclusion, health, education, livelihoods referrals, cash and voucher assistance, community engagement and accountability. I have managed integrated programmes for refugees, host communities and disaster-affected populations, supervised multidisciplinary teams, and coordinated with UN agencies, NGOs, public authorities, donors and community-based organisations.

I am experienced in MEAL, social impact assessment and mixed-methods research. My competencies include theories of change, indicator and monitoring framework development, needs and vulnerability assessments, protection risk analysis, surveys, focus groups, key informant interviews, service mapping, feedback mechanisms, psychometric measurement, and qualitative and quantitative analysis using SPSS, NVivo, Atlas.ti, Kobo and Power BI.

I develop SOPs, policies, guidelines, terms of reference, training curricula, toolkits, policy papers and strategic documents. As a trainer and consultant, I deliver capacity-building on MHPSS, child protection, PSEAH, CHS, Sphere standards, disaster management and organisational preparedness. My work also covers localisation, institutional development, staff well-being, culturally sensitive programming, and community-based social and behaviour change.

I hold a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Disaster and Humanitarian Aid Management with a 4.0/4.0 GPA. I am pursuing a PhD in Social Psychology at Middle East Technical University, focusing on disaster, psychosocial and community resilience, social capital, collective efficacy, culture and behaviour change. I also completed Harvard Humanitarian Initiative’s Humanitarian Leadership programme. I am fluent in Turkish and English and have intermediate Korean proficiency.
