Ahlem Mahroua

Venture builder, growth strategist and impact advisor with 20+ years of experience across technology, education, entrepreneurship and sustainable development. I combine senior operating experience at Google and Quest Education Group with hands-on advisory work for early-stage ventures, accelerators and innovation programmes across the GCC, Europe and Africa.

Over the past three years, I have advised 320+ founders across 21 countries, helping them strengthen business models, pricing and unit economics, commercial operations, go-to-market strategies, B2B/B2G sales, market entry and investment readiness. My approach combines rigorous diagnosis with practical execution: I turn strategic questions into measurable experiments, 90-day action plans and founder-owned operating priorities.

My programme experience includes Sheraa S3 and SWIF, Seedstars x SANAD ElevateHer, Athar+ with Elevate Ventures, Hub71 x Techstars, Madaar Oman, Brinc Hi2, Plug and Play, Google.org’s Women4Cyber and the American University of Sharjah. I have supported EdTech, enterprise SaaS, mobility, climate and social-impact ventures, including women-led businesses and founders entering GCC markets. Results include helping five S3 EdTech ventures improve commercial viability; mentoring 21 women founders through ElevateHer; and producing measurable growth outcomes for Hub71 founders, whose workshop attendees grew 2.7 times faster than non-attendees in one tracked cohort.

Previously, as CMO of Quest Education Group, I built the commercial and admissions engine that supported growth from approximately €105,000 to €13 million in annual revenue within four years and improved enrolment conversion by 40% in 90 days without additional advertising spend. At Google, I managed strategic partnerships and a portfolio representing approximately $120 million in annual revenue, supported market entry and monetisation across France, Turkey and the UK, and led a six-person sales team.

I hold an MSc in International Sustainable Development and work fluently in French and English, with Arabic dialect capability and regional experience across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. I am an experienced facilitator, lecturer and mentor, recognised as a 2026 Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival Outstanding Mentor finalist, placing in the top four among approximately 700 mentors.
