The Turkish Family Health and Planning Foundation (TAPV)

Overview

The Turkish Family Health and Planning Foundation (TAPV) was established in 1985 to support maternal and child health and family planning initiatives offered within the scope of preventive health services. TAPV continues its work in the field of sexual and reproductive health with a rights-based approach based on gender equality. In this context, it conducts studies on sexual education, safe motherhood, reproductive health risks, fertility regulation, sexual health, and sexually transmitted infections, and works in cooperation with local governments to strengthen access to sexual and reproductive health services for vulnerable groups.
