As Country Representative for World Learning in Algeria since 2011, I have directed donor-funded initiatives advancing youth employability, women's economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, inclusive education, STEAM, and community development. My work encompasses program strategy, proposal development, resource mobilization, donor compliance, stakeholder engagement, and the management of multidisciplinary teams and partnerships.
I have extensive experience collaborating with Algerian government institutions, international development organizations, civil society, universities, and multinational corporations. Key achievements include overseeing energy-sector workforce development initiatives reaching more than 10,000 young people; supporting corporate partnerships with Anadarko, Occidental Petroleum, and SLB; and leading participatory Design Labs that empower women and communities to develop locally driven solutions.
My technical expertise includes institutional capacity building, participatory program design, training and facilitation, public-private partnerships, education systems strengthening, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), youth employment, and organizational development. I have also led initiatives integrating innovation, entrepreneurship, digital skills, and emerging technologies into education and workforce programming.
Previously, I held senior educational leadership positions in the United States, overseeing inclusive education and vocational programs across multiple school districts. I hold graduate degrees in education from Harvard University and Cumberland College, along with a professional certificate in special education from Boston University.
Based in Algiers, I bring deep knowledge of Algeria's institutional, cultural, and development landscape, complemented by international experience and cross-cultural expertise. I hold U.S. and Luxembourg citizenship, with native English and professional French proficiency. Available for consulting assignments in Algeria and internationally.
