Ajialouna

Overview

Ajialouna is a Lebanese non-profit humanitarian organization established in 1995 and led by a female board of directors. With offices in Beirut and Tripoli, it operates across Lebanon to support underprivileged families, women, youth, orphans, and the elderly. Guided by the motto “We live to give,” Ajialouna delivers essential services in healthcare, education, social welfare, and economic empowerment. The organization provides free medical care, surgeries, medications, physiotherapy, and gym services to thousands of low-income beneficiaries annually.

In parallel, it tackles food insecurity through Ramadan meals, food vouchers, grocery packages, and orphan and widow sponsorships funded by community donations and Zakat. Education is another core pillar, highlighted by scholarship programs such as the PepsiCo-sponsored Tomooh initiative, public school health campaigns, and citizenship-focused Aflatoun clubs. Ajialouna is also committed to women’s empowerment, offering vocational training and employment opportunities through initiatives like their in-house atelier, kitchen, and a retail outlet in ABC Mall.
