Gregory Olson

Gregory L. Olson is an international development professional with more than 30 years of experience in the Middle East, East Africa, and South Asia. He has held senior management positions, including Chief of Party, on numerous programs in transitional/post-conflict areas in multiple sectors. Mr. Olson’s most recent position was as Chief of Party at the USAID Egypt performance management, monitoring and evaluation project (SIMPLE). Mr. Olson has extensive experience in contract management and project close-out and holds advanced degrees in international business management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and adult education from the American University in Cairo. He is fluent in Swedish and Arabic and lives between Wisconsin in the U.S. and Cairo, Egypt.
