Q perspective (Q) is a private regional firm operating in Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine providing comprehensive consulting services that focus on developing or transforming socioeconomic initiatives into responsive, effective, and sustainable interventions.
Q perspective has extensive experience in designing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating, and sustaining rural and urban development projects focused on, but not restricted to, socioeconomic development work. They have a particular passion for agriculture-based development projects and have a proven track record in agricultural value-chain development. Q perspective was contracted by Caritas Switzerland “Agri-value chain developments” to lead the design and planning of rural livelihoods projects in Jordan and Lebanon for Syrian refugee and local host community beneficiaries. The projects are focused on agricultural value chains and aim to develop local infrastructure and capabilities to create livelihoods opportunities. The projects are being designed using the cluster model adapted and used by Q perspective in both countries. Q perspective were also responsible for the implementation of the projects in both countries.
Q perspective’s team of experts have proven track records in assessments; impact analysis; social audits; stakeholder analysis and engagement; risk analysis and management; technical assessments; project, programme, and strategic planning; project management and implementation; enterprise operation and incubation; monitoring and evaluation; and research and reporting on socioeconomic development projects, initiatives, and issues.
Q perspective was contracted by Danish Refugee Council to conduct a Final Project Evaluation and Endline Assessment of the EU MADAD – LEADERS programme, a multi-project, multi-country programme aimed at improving livelihoods for host and Syrian refugee communities in Lebanon and Jordan. The evaluation included extensive data collection and analysis and involved a large team of multidisciplinary researchers in both countries. The evaluation’s conclusions were used to design and develop future phases of the project and was foundational in determining future funding opportunities by the EU and others.
