Overview

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation (MBRCGI) is a UAE-based institution established in 2014 under the directive of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The center aims to foster a culture of government innovation by developing creative solutions to enhance public sector efficiency and improve services for citizens and residents.

MBRCGI works on research, training, and strategic initiatives to promote innovation across government entities in the UAE. It provides consultation, workshops, and funding for innovative government projects, encouraging collaboration between the public and private sectors. Some of its key programs include the GovHack series, the Innovation Diploma, and the UAE Innovates initiative, which celebrate and support groundbreaking ideas in governance. The center also collaborates with international organizations to position the UAE as a global leader in government innovation.
