Overview

The INL is a foreign assistance and policy bureau that works globally to: Combat drug trafficking , Fight transnational crime, Strengthen rule of law and justice systems

Its mission is to keep the U.S. and partner countries safe by addressing crime and instability abroad.

It focuses on 4 main objectives: Reduce illicit drugs and organized crime, Combat corruption and illicit financial flows , Strengthen criminal justice systems annd Support stable, accountable governance.
