Overview

The China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) was established in 2018 as a part of China's efforts to streamline and enhance its foreign aid and development assistance. It operates under the State Council of China and is responsible for coordinating international development cooperation, including managing foreign aid, promoting investment, and facilitating partnerships with other countries.

CIDCA focuses on several key areas like Bilateral and Multilateral Aid Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Capacity Building and Crisis Response and Through these efforts, CIDCA aims to enhance China's role in global governance and support the development of partner countries while promoting its own interests.
