FINNIDA

Overview

Finland’s Development Policy through FINNIDA works to improve the conditions in developing countries. NGOs play a critical role in implementing this policy in different countries. It allocates funds for projects and programmes to be implemented in regions across the world. Part of these funds are also channelized through the European Union and supports interventions in poor countries. A considerable portion of its funds are allocated to NGOs.
