Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF)
Overview
The Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF) is the global fund dedicated to preventing violent extremism. They connect local communities to global resources by conducting community development activities by training of youth, religious/community leaders and journalists to take initiatives to prevent violent extremism in their communities.
They conducted 0interfaith, inter-community and inter-generational dialogues. Produced radio or TV programmes to raise awareness and facilitate discussion on radicalism and preventing violent extremism. They also increase engagement of young people in discussions, debates and activities related to PVE, using accessible entry points such as cultural and sporting events
