Overview

IFC a sister organization of the World Bank and member of the World Bank Group. It is the largest global development institution focused exclusively on the private sector in developing countries. IFC is the only global multilateral source of debt and equity financing for private enterprise in developing countries. It is headquartered in Washington DC with over 102 offices worldwide in 92 countries

IFC utilizes and leverages products and services as well as products and services of other institutions in the World Bank Group to provide development solutions customized to meet clients’ needs. By applying  financial resources, technical expertise, global experience, and innovative thinking IFC helps their partners overcome financial, operational, and political challenges.
