Overview

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Innovation Fund (MBRIF) is a UAE federal initiative aimed at fostering high-potential innovations to support the UAE's National Innovation Strategy. Launched by the Ministry of Finance, MBRIF collaborates with Emirates Development Bank to provide mentoring, funding, and business development support to innovators looking to establish or expand their businesses in the UAE. The fund focuses on various sectors, including space, transport, education, technology, water, clean energy, and health.

MBRIF offers two main programs: the Innovation Accelerator, which provides comprehensive services such as business model analysis, market access, and expert mentoring, and the Guarantee Scheme, which offers government-backed loan guarantees to help innovators secure financing without diluting equity. The fund is open to entrepreneurs of all nationalities and supports a diverse range of industries. MBRIF is located in Dubai and is dedicated to transforming the UAE economy through a global network of partners and expertise.
