Reach out to Asia (ROTA)
Overview
Education Above All (EAA) Foundation's programme, Reach Out to Asia (ROTA), launched in December 2005 in Doha - Qatar, by Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. ROTA focuses on improving access to quality education, primarily by supporting primary and secondary schools, building educational infrastructure, and training teachers. In addition to its educational initiatives, ROTA responds to humanitarian crises by providing emergency relief, including educational materials, temporary learning spaces, and psychosocial support to children and families affected by disasters. The organization also emphasizes youth empowerment, offering programs that develop leadership skills, encourage volunteerism, and promote civic engagement among young people.
