Right Livelihood
Overview
Right Livelihood, often referred to as the “Alternative Nobel Prize,” is a global foundation that supports courageous individuals and organizations working for social justice, human rights, sustainability, and peace. Its main form of financial support is the annual Right Livelihood Award, which provides cash prizes to Laureates to strengthen their ongoing work, but the foundation goes beyond funding by offering long-term assistance, advocacy, protection, and visibility. In addition, Right Livelihood implements programmes and partnerships worldwide, including in the MENA region.
