Overview
Sharjah Charity International (SCI) is a humanitarian organization established in 1989 under the directive of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. Initially named the "Charity Association," it was rebranded in 2000 to its current name.Over the past decade, SCI has significantly expanded its reach, impacting the lives of approximately 24 million individuals across 110 countries with an expenditure of AED 3 billion. Its initiatives align with several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on eradicating poverty and hunger, promoting good health and education, providing clean water, building sustainable cities, and fostering economic growth.
