Solsoc
Overview
Solsoc (Solidarité Socialiste) is a Belgian non-governmental organization that works to promote social justice, equality, and solidarity through partnerships with grassroots movements and civil society organizations around the world. Based in Brussels, Solsoc does not implement projects directly but rather collaborates with local partners to strengthen their capacities, provide financial and technical support, and advocate for policies that defend human rights, democracy, and social protection. Its work focuses on empowering marginalized groups, promoting the social and solidarity economy, advancing labor rights, and supporting initiatives that build inclusive and democratic societies. With long-term partnerships in regions such as Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East—including Morocco and Palestine—Solsoc plays a bridging role between local struggles and global solidarity movements.
