Overview
The Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME) has been set-up by the European Commission to manage on its behalf several EU programs in the fields of SME support & innovation, environment, climate action, energy and maritime affairs. As an executive agency of the European Commission, we manage significant parts of COSME, LIFE, Horizon 2020 and EMFF. We ensure that actions funded by these programs deliver results and provide the Commission with valuable input for its policy tasks'.
EASME is managing the Eco-innovation initiative which run from 2008 to 2013 and was set up to support innovation among SMEs and to improve their competitiveness. It bridges the gap between research and the market and helps good ideas for innovative products, services and processes that protect the environment become fully-fledged commercial prospects, ready for use by business and industry.
