Overview
United Nations Information Centre in Beirut (UNIC Beirut) is one of 63 offices around the world that constitute branch offices of the UN Department of Public Information (UNDPI) in New York.
UNIC Beirut serves Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Kuwait, and works closely with the UN family in Lebanon. Its core functions are promoting an informed understanding of the work and purposes of the UN and Informing the public of the aims and activities of the UN through awareness activities, communication strategies, and maintaining close relations with the media.
