Overview
The Zayed Charitable & Humanitarian Foundation is a not-for-profit organization established in 1992 by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the UAE. With an initial endowment of one billion US dollars, the Foundation focuses on charitable and humanitarian projects both in the UAE and internationally. The Foundation's vision is to honor Sheikh Zayed’s humanitarian legacy by assisting those in need, regardless of race, gender, or religion. It operates through six key pillars: Education, Health, Charity, Hajj, Relief, and Rewards. Its programs include delivering humanitarian aid, supporting healthcare and educational initiatives, facilitating Hajj for needy Muslims, and providing emergency relief during crises. The Foundation aims to improve living standards in developing countries and enhance the quality of life for vulnerable populations through sustainable development and humanitarian assistance
