A new donation from the Archewell Foundation brings hope to young survivors in Gaza, aiming to ease both immediate suffering and long-term recovery needs.

Prince Harry and Meghan’s Archewell Foundation has donated $500,000 to help children affected by the war in Gaza. The funds include $200,000 for the World Health Organization to carry out medical evacuations to Jordan, $150,000 for Save the Children to deliver urgent humanitarian aid, and $150,000 for Imperial College’s Centre for Blast Injury Studies to develop prosthetics for young survivors.

To give more context, The Archewell Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to addressing urgent needs and tackling root causes through partnerships. It focuses on creating long-term solutions rather than temporary fixes.

The foundation believes mental health and collective wellbeing are central, with initiatives supporting families, youth, and equality.

Morover , Harry has said that “Gaza now has the highest density of child amputees in the world and in history.” He continued to say that Helping children survive and heal from blast injuries requires teamwork between governments, doctors, scientists, aid groups, and advocates.
