Amany Eid

Amany Eid, is an International Marketing Consultant and Facilitator, currently engaged in employment projects for youth and women as well as refugee initiatives at various international organizations across the Middle East region. She is also an Innovation Consultant in the development sector and for-profit sector using the Human Centered Design Thinking methodology for which she has received her training in Germany.
Regarding Amany’s previous work, she has 18 years of marketing experience in Canada, Turkey, Egypt and the Gulf having worked in companies such as Royal Bank of Canada, HP Canada, Microsoft, Vodafone, the American Chamber of Commerce, UNDP and GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit). The core of her experience lies specifically in product development, program designs and channel development. She has used her experience and ability to generate profit and achieve results acquired in the private sector, to create powerful impact in the social development projects she has worked on.
Because of her work, Amany was selected to take part in the Fortune’s Most Powerful Women’s Program in the U.S. and was a recipient of the Global Women in Management award in 2014.
About her education, Amany has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics from the American University in Cairo, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Maastricht University in the Netherlands.
Amany’s passion is to help use her talent to economically empower women in need through being able to generate income. She volunteers with three NGO’s in Cairo, Suhag & Northern Sinai with marketing services to help the craftsmen and craftswomen to market their products and become profitable social enterprises while providing services to their communities. She is also a published non-fiction writer.
