Dr. Mariam Shebaya works at the intersection of institutional development (strategy, accreditation, quality assurance, systems) and human development (coaching, leadership, wellbeing). An organizational psychologist, organization development consultant, and executive leadership coach, she has spent two decades on both sides of that line. As director of AACSB accreditation at the University of Balamand, she designed the quality assurance and data-informed decision-making systems that carried the faculty of business and management to initial accreditation.

Her doctoral research examined developmental readiness — what it takes to actually change. A professor of management and organizational behavior, she prioritizes student agency and integrates AI as a tool that amplifies critical thinking. She advises SelfStir Limited (UK) and Peregrine Global Services, and serves on the ATHEA Board of Commissioners.
