Lama Kawtharani
About
I was exposed to the education and humanitarian sectors. I started my professional career as an academic management instructor at the Arts, Technologies, and Sciences at the University of Lebanon (AUL). During my time there, I developed my teaching and lecturing skills by providing innovative methodologies in management, supervising presentations, and advising students on projects, senior projects, and theses. I have accomplished my employment experience at the American University of Beirut (AUB) as a project coordinator in the Civic Engagement and Community Service Division (CCECS). I got an in-depth insight into humanitarian interventions and program execution for community services. Currently, I am operating SPHERE Building Tomorrow, a local non-profit organization with the sole intention of alleviating livelihood and social stability with a mainstreaming of Conflict Sensitivity and Do No Harm and gender equality and equity, based on research and assessment studies in different fields for those in need by enhancing employability, providing educational opportunities and enlivening local communities to empower them to build a brighter future among humanitarian interventions and programs executed across Lebanon. I practiced many extracurricular and volunteering activities during my years at different institutions. I believe I can offer my skills along with academic education and teaching, to benefit your organization and my career simultaneously.
