Miriam Chikwanda is a researcher and evaluator with 6+ years’ experience in programme evaluations. She holds Bachelors (Honours level) in Social Work which she was awarded at the University of Cape Town. She is currently in her final stages of completing her Master’s degree in Development Studies at the University of Western Cape. Prior to working in programme evaluation, Miriam worked in child protection as a statutory social worker for 4 years. In this role she worked in the child protection sector. Her work was anchored on execution of the demands of the South African social protection policies including the children’s rights Act.
