I am Principal Environmental and Social Sustainability Consultant with over 24 years of experience specializing in various Environmental & Social fields (Environmental & Social Impact Assessment ESIA, Environmental Sustainability, Environmental and Sustainability Audit & Compliance, Environmental Social Governance ESG, Setting and supervising Environmental & Social Action Plans ESAP, Industrial Decarbonization, Climate change impact mitigation, and Integrated sustainable waste management). I Hold Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in Environmental Science and Technology from Saitama University, Japan. I Possess a deep, practical understanding of developing and implementing environmental sustainability strategies and implementation plans. I have consistently pursued advanced professional development through extensive training, international study tours, and seminars focused on emerging environmental topics and technologies. A recent highlight of this continuous education is LEED® Green Associate™ accreditation & my completion of the specialized Environmental, Social, & Governance (ESG) Specialization program from the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI) in October 2024.

My professional background is marked by comprehensive experience spanning multiple sectors, including government regulation with the EEAA, private industry, international development projects, and private consultancy. As a former Senior Expert at the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA), I have firsthand experience in managing environmental compliance, auditing ESIA studies, and developing mitigation plans for industrial carbon footprints. I offer robust expertise in international environmental standards, including IFC Performance Standards PSs, WBG EHS Guidelines, and EBRD Performance Requirements PRs. My professional experiences and skills are further enhanced through joining various projects in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan & Japan adopting these international standards and guidelines. I am committed to driving the green transition by assisting clients (industries & International development projects) in achieving Environmental & Social compliance, enhancing resource efficiency, and capitalizing on sustainable development opportunities.
