Description of the Position: 

STL is a humanitarian organization that conducts activities in many locations in eight different cities throughout Turkey, and in this context natural or case management for people affected by disasters have occurred by human hands, awareness and information activities, mental health and psychosocial support activities, education and livelihood opportunities It carries out studies for different fields and needs such as creation. The Support to Life Association consists of social workers, field workers, psychologists, lawyers, interpreters, psychosocial support workers who carry out these activities in the fields, as well as those working in support units such as finance, logistics and purchasing, monitoring-evaluation, human resources, and those working in the central office. has a network of employees.

Support to Life, in the Covid-19 process, is looking for a Psychological Counseling Center or specialist psychologists who can issue invoices through the online tools for institution employees working in eight different fields of secondary traumatization and burnout, as well as the psychological effects of the epidemic process.

It is preferable that the institutions or candidates to apply have previously provided group counseling for the institutions and that they have worked specifically in the field of refugees. In the proposals of the institutions or candidates to apply, it is expected to specify a fee including VAT per session for 8 psycho-training sessions on the aforementioned subjects for one to one and a half hours for 8 different fields. The contract period will be kept longer than this activity, and group counseling and psychoeducation support may be requested on similar topics if needed.

Main Areas of Responsibilities: 

  • Psycho-training on at least 8 groups (groups 35 - 50 people) through online tools
  • Providing group counseling when needed
  • To organize preventive preventive psycho-training sessions at certain intervals on trauma, secondary trauma, burnout, self-care and similar topics when needed.
  • Consultant - to make verbal / written evaluations to the Support to Life Association regarding the measures that can be taken institutionally and the arrangements that can be made by protecting the privacy principle.

Professional Qualification:

  • Having graduated from the Psychology department of universities, having completed a master's or doctorate degree in Clinical / Applied Psychology
  • Having at least 3 years of experience in individual and / or group counseling
  • Having at least 2 years of experience in individual / group counseling on trauma and related issues
  • previously provided group counseling and psycho training for institutions
  • Preferably having previous experience in humanitarian aid or civil society
  • Preferably self-care work for employees
  • Good command of English, both orally and in writing (one or two sessions can be requested in English)

  • Invoice or self-employment receipt is requested from the applicant or institution in exchange for the service. It should be stated which one can be provided in the proposal. Applications that fail to provide one of these two documents will not be considered.
  • The validity period of the offers must be at least 6 months. Tender letters shorter than this specified period will not be evaluated.
