LOYAC - Lothan Youth Achievement Center – a non-profit organization, leading its work in youth empowerment in the Arab Region, it helps youth with their professional development and personal growth. LOYAC was founded in Kuwait in 2002 and has expanded its operations in Jordan, Lebanon, Yemen and most recently in Egypt.

As of today LOYAC hires 65 full-time employees, reaching over 150,000 beneficiaries through several youth empowering programs including huge variety of internships; scholarships; civic engagement and community services; social entrepreneurship; leadership training, drama therapy and sports among others.

LOYAC works towards providing the youth, ages 5 to 30 years old with unique opportunities to help them evolve into highly effective humane citizens. Programs are tailored depending on the country’s needs and demands. LOYAC has two main categories through which their programs are divided into 1) Personal and Professional Development and 2) Community Service.

Internship Programs
LOYAC offers internship and apprenticeship opportunities for the youth to have them gain hands on work experience from well-known organizations. The duration of the internship lasts from 4 to 6 weeks. This program is offered 4 times a year. LOYAC has offered international opportunities in well prestigious organizations such as IFAD
Training and Social Entrepreneurship
LOYAC designs and implements training workshops delivered by experienced and passionate trainers. Training also include an impact-driven Social Entrepreneurship Program conducted in collaboration with a top school in Business, Babson College, USA.
Youth Engaging Programs
LOYAC pays special attention to volunteering programs that engage youth with the community. These activities include public awareness campaigns in the fields of environment, health and fitness, arts and culture and much more. Other activities include collaborating with a number of hospitals, community development centers, orphanages, humanitarian and relief programs through which participants volunteer within their own nations and beyond.
International Capacity Building
LOYAC provides opportunities for youth to participate in international training and community services program connecting them with many global institutions. LOYAC youth participated in the design and development of programs in developing countries such as Kenya, Srilanka, Lebanon etc.

LOYAC supports diverting youth from violence to peace and from passive to active leaders in their communities. LOYAC is building hard-working, tolerant, talented, socially conscious and peaceful youth generation

With over 20 different programs running in 4 continents, LOYAC has empowered 60,000+ Arab youth to positively lead changes within their communities and beyond. LOYAC delivery innovative approach is based on mobilizing volunteers in one hand while strengthening and expanding trusted partnerships with other development partners on the other hand

LOYAC depends on the voluntary contribution of its members and heavily relies on Corporate Funders’, advertising financial and sponsorship. Other LOYAC Activities 

LOYAC also manages three main initiatives in Kuwait: the LOYAC Academy for Performing Arts (LAPA), the AC Milan Football Academy, and Al Shaheed Park, a brand-new park which is the largest in Kuwait City.
