How can I create tenders and grants e-mail notification alert?

  1. Sign in
  2. Click on My account
  3. Choose Create My Alert
  4. Choose your preferences carefully and press submit

You can update your email alert at any time. And you will be receiving the daily alert at 10 am (Cairo time).

How can I create and update my individual expert profile?

  1. Sign in
  2. Click on My account
  3. Choose Create Your Ind. Profile
  4. Fill in your information and press submit
  5. Our team will approve and publish it within 24 hours. 

You can update your profile at any time to stay on the top of the list. 

Account Management

How long does it take for my subscription to be activated?

When you pay online, your DARPE subscription is activated instantly. When you use other payment channels, your account is activated within 24-48 hours of payment.

What are the steps to receive email alert notifications?

1- Once you sign in with your Username and Password, click on "My Account"
2- Select Create Email Alert option
3- Choose your specific email-alert preferences,
4- Now every time the Tenders and Grants tracker identifies an opportunity that matches your selected criteria, you will receive an email notification in this regard at 10 am (Cairo time)

We still advise you to check the Tenders and Grants section of the DARPE site on a daily basis, as well as to update your email-alert preferences regularly, to ensure that you don’t miss any relevant opportunities. This is important as some organizations post opportunities with a very short application window.

How do I change my email or password?

Log in to your account, click on My account, choose "account information", and change your email or password.

How do I upgrade my account?

  1. Log in using your username and password
  2. At the main menu, select Select "Upgrade"
  3. Select Your Subscription Plan and Duration
  4. Add your card details to pay online or contact the admin for other payment methods

I can not access my account; it gives me 503: error!

A single Username is only valid for 3 unique IP addresses a month. An IP address is a unique numerical code assigned to every internet connection. Once that limit is reached, the system assumes there has been a security breach. At that time, it will create a temporary ban; preventing access to DARPE portal and you will receive this error message "503: Service Temporarily Unavailable: Too many IP addresses accessing one secure area! Please contact Support if you need assistance". To fix it, you have to contact your account manager.

Can I open my account on different devices?

No, you can sign in to your account on one device and no simultaneous use of the account from different IP at the same time.

I am subscribing since years and I stopped receiving my e-mail alert regularly as it used to be

This problem may happen when DARPE users don't update their e-mail alert for a period of time. To make sure you are receiving email alert, please sign in to your account, click on my account button, then choose, create email alert, update your preferences, and then click on submit.

What are the Opportunity Type Classification

  • Individual means and includes those opportunities soliciting response from individual consultants only
  • Tender means and includes those opportunities soliciting responses from Private Consulting and Development Firms
  • Grant means and includes those opportunities soliciting responses from Non-profit Organizations / Foundations and Research Institutes (i.e. grant opportunities for research, for instance)
  • Depending on the opportunity’s eligibility conditions, you may find one opportunity classified by more than one type such as Tender and Grant which occurs when opportunity mentions that both NGOs and Private Sector firms are eligible to bid or Tender and Individual at the same time, when experts/freelancers as well as private sector firms are eligible to bid or most probably either one can submit alone

What are the benefits of having access to the Directory of Development Partners?

The Directory is regularly updated and maintained. It provides you with a summary of:

  1. Sectors and sub-sectors of interest/expertise
  2. Types of services provided (areas of practice)
  3. Geographic coverage
  4. Specific Contact information

Billing Questions

How can I pay for the subscription?

You can pay for your DARPE subscription by credit card (Visa, Mastercard). Additional payment options are available (Bank Transfer, Western Union, Cash, Vodafone Cash). Contact us to learn more about them.

What if I want to cancel my subscription?

Subscribing members may terminate their subscription agreement at any time. Termination will be effective at the end of the month of which a request to terminate occurs. Subscribers will be charged for the period prior to the termination effective date in a prorated manner. 25% of the total subscription package will be retained for administration processing fees.

What if I want to cancel my subscription auto-renewal and stop recurring payment?

To stop your auto-renewal, simply follow these steps:

  1. Click on My Account (your dashboard) at the top right of the website.
  2. Select Stop my recurrent payment.

Can I share my DARPE subscription?

Your subscription cannot be shared. A single Username is only valid for 3 unique IP addresses a month. An IP address is a unique numerical code assigned to every internet connection.

How can I add additional users to my account?

Additional users (e-mail accounts) for the same organization’s domain are available at $50 for the Basic membership plan and $75 for the Premium membership plan.
