Development Aid Providers ranging from bilateral and multilateral agencies, development banks, international foundations have issued 41+ live tenders and grants either at the forecast or request for proposals stages. 35% + of such opportunities requested engineering and environmental services in sectors such as water, transport, facilities management, power and energy. 30%+ requested technical assistance and capacity building services in areas such as entrepreneurship, trade, finance, health and agricultural sectors. 20% of the identified opportunities were slated for individual consultants in areas such as M&E, video production, climate change and gender mainstreaming. Community development, cultural activities and governance filled the rest 15% of total funding.

Most notably that USAID ranked number 1 among those Development Aid Providers in terms of the value of issued procurement notices whereas European Union, EIB and EBRD together ranked the first in the number of tenders and grants issued. UNDP and Care International were among those most published individual consultancy procurement notices.
