WingWoman Lebanon is a local non-governmental organization working at the intersection of women’s health, economic empowerment, and environmental protection. Founded in response to Lebanon's ongoing economic crisis, the organization works to tackle period poverty and diaper insecurity by providing eco-friendly, long-term alternatives to expensive single-use products.

WingWoman’s work produces high-quality, reusable menstrual pads and cloth diapers. Each reusable pad pack lasts up to three years and prevents over 700 disposable pads from reaching landfills, while their child-friendly cloth diapers replace thousands of single-use diapers. This approach helps vulnerable families save money while significantly reducing solid waste in local communities.

Other than supplying health products, WingWoman provides a livelihood program that creates decent jobs for women in the local community. The organization teaches women in Lebanon eco-friendly manufacturing production techniques so they can produce these items on their own, earn a stable income, and achieve financial independence amid the difficult economic situation.

In order to strengthen its impact, WingWoman collaborates with international NGOs, humanitarian organizations, and civil society organizations throughout the region. With their assistance, WingWoman distributes reusable hygiene kits and conducts MHM training sessions for displaced people and poor families in Lebanon.

For development practitioners and donor organizations, WingWoman Lebanon offers a clear example of localized, sustainable community development. By combining women's rights, green technology, and economic relief into a single model, the organization shows how local initiatives can build long-term social resilience in crisis-affected areas.
