Britain, Australia and Canada Launch New Peace Fund for Israeli-Palestinian War

Britain, Australia and Canada have announced a new peace fund to support efforts toward a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The three countries will each contribute £1 million, bringing the total value of the fund to £3 million.

The initiative will support both new and existing grassroots projects that promote dialogue and cooperation between communities. The fund will place a special focus on youth groups, civil society organizations and women, recognizing their important role in building peace and understanding.

The announcement was made ahead of a meeting in Britain between UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper, Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong and Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand.
