The Lebanon Family Planning Association for Sustainable Development (LFPADE) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1969 and recognized as a public utility by presidential decree in 1978. LFPADE is dedicated to contributing to sustainable development by ensuring family stability and empowering individuals through a human rights-based approach. It advocates for reproductive and sexual health, gender equality, women’s and youth rights, and volunteering, while also fostering partnerships with governmental and non-governmental entities, the private sector, and international organizations.The organization runs various programs, including economic empowerment initiatives for women and girls, providing training in agro-food production and entrepreneurship to enhance their financial independence. Additionally, it focuses on youth empowerment through projects like the Young Innovators Summer Camps, supported by the Malala Fund, which help marginalized children acquire digital skills and educational opportunities. LFPADE also offers reproductive and sexual health services, awareness campaigns, and humanitarian assistance to communities in need.
